Mr. Bakunda Patrick is the pioneer and Chief Executive Officer of UCCFS. He heads a team of 4 managers that assist him in running the institution. He holds a Master’s Degree in Economics and has over 15 years in corporate governance and business management. He has previously worked with European Development Fund as the Microfinance officer and regional manager Microfinance Unit in Uganda Cooperative Alliance (UCA) and possesses massive knowledge in cooperatives development.

Mr. Patrick has been recognized and consulted for by both national and international bodies in the cooperative and Microfinance Industry. He is a member of the Technical Working Committees at Ministry of Finance, Planning and Economic Development, Ministry of Industry, Trade and Cooperatives and Ministry of Agriculture, Animal Industry and Fisheries.

Ms. Kyompire Jennifer is the Finance and Administration Manager. She handles financial matters, budgetary controls and financial reporting.

She holds a Master’s degree in Accounting and Finance, worked previously as Microfinance officer at Uganda Cooperative Alliance (UCA) has over 10 years in cooperatives and Microfinance.

Jennifer also headed Finance and Administration at South Eastern Private Sector Development, Busia. She also guides the Institution in HR related initiatives and programmes, compliance, productivity and efficiency of the Team. Jennifer also has a vast experience in adult training and literacy as well as providing consultancy in Business development and management.

Mr. Ashaba Denis is the Head of Operations. He brings over 15 years cooperative and microfinance experience at UCCFS. Mr. Denis coordinates all departments and projects. He is in charge of risk management, research development, professional consultancy and advisory in Book Keeping and reporting , Treasury Management, Credit Management, Human resource Management, customer care, Reporting, Base line surveys, Project planning and management, Financial Management and accounting.

Before joining UCCFS, he was a SACCO General Manager and Microfinance officer at Uganda Cooperative Alliance (UCA). He possesses various professional certificates from national and international bodies and is a Member of Association of Financial Cooperatives Professionals of Uganda (AFCPU)

Mr. Walakira Moses is the Credit Manager. His vast experience of over 9 years and profession helps him in controlling and management of UCCFS Loan Portfolio and maintains its quality. Moses has migrated from different positions in SACCOs to the General Manager. Prior to joining UCCFS, he worked in the Internal Audit Unit at Uganda Cooperative Alliance (UCA). He assists in research and development and is a professional consultant in the cooperative movement.

Mr. Twesigye Brian fills the post of Business Development Manager. He is assisted by a team of Business Development Officers at regional level in the marketing of UCCFS products and services.

He has over 6 years in business development programmes and is responsible for establishing the right brand of UCCFS to remain competitive, runs branding/marketing campaigns business growth and representation at various fora. He previously worked as a Manager, operations and Business Development at Priceline Forex and holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Commerce.
